About NEXUS Bioadaptive Research Complex
NEXUS Bioadaptive Research Complex is an immersive science-fiction and blacksite roleplay project within Second Life, combining detailed environmental design with freeform, player-driven storytelling.
The facility is centred around the research, study, containment, and management of unusual bioadaptive and anomalous subjects. NEXUS is designed as a living roleplay environment where researchers, containment personnel, security staff, subjects, administrators, and other characters contribute to stories that develop through interaction rather than following a rigid script.
We are building a community where creativity, character development, collaboration, and immersive roleplay are encouraged. Players are welcome to develop their own characters and storylines while contributing to the wider NEXUS setting and its ongoing lore.
NEXUS also has opportunities outside direct roleplay. Depending on current project requirements, we may recruit project management, builders, scripters, mesh creators, writers, event staff, moderators, and other creative or technical contributors.
We value communication, reliability, teamwork, creativity, and respect. Experience can be useful for specialist positions, but newcomers should not feel excluded simply because they are new to a particular role. Expectations and requirements will vary depending on the position.
NEXUS is currently under active development and continues to expand as new areas, systems, stories, and opportunities are introduced.
